There are no drill or auger holes involved. <br />f. All slopes will be cut on the contour to prevent erosion and conserve moisture. <br />The slopes will be reclaimed to a(3:1) three to one slope or less. <br />Rule 6.2 -Water <br />a. The Operator shall comply with applicable Colorado Water Laws and Regula- <br />tions governing injury to existing water rights as well as all Federal and <br />Colorado Water Quality Laws and Regulations. There will be no dredge, fill <br />or water impoundments on-site (Page "G-1"). <br />Rule 6.3 -Wildlife <br />a. All aspects of the mining and reclamation shall take into account the safety <br />and protection of area wildlife. There are no critical habitats/vegetative <br />communities to be impacted and the impact on wildlife will be minimal due to <br />the pit's location in a grazed, shortgrass habitat next to a wheat field <br />(Pages "H-1 through "H-4"). <br />Rule 6. 4 - Topsoiling <br />a. Both the overburden and topsoil shall be removed and segregated from other <br />spoil. The topsoil shall be replaced on the backfill area within a time span <br />short enough to prevent erosion and deterioration of the topsoil, therefore, <br />no vegetative cover will be planted. There are no acid or toxic materials <br />found at the site (Pages "D-2", "D-3", and "E-1"). <br />b. The topsoil and overburden stockpiles shall be located in places which <br />minimize erosion and where disturbance of ongoing mining operations will <br />minimized.
