• 76-16. Further disturbance of native vegetation types will be <br />nominal. Sample adequacy was determined for each parameter (cover, <br />production, density) on all of the vegetation types as described in <br />the Methods Section. Data from the vegetation resource inventory <br />is presented is Table 24, Summary of Statistical Information for <br />Mine No. 3 Vegetation Types. Vegetation data was collected on <br />undisturbed sites adjacent to the disturbance area. The sampling <br />sites are repreaenEative of the premine vegetation and will be used <br />for reference areas. <br />Rule 2.04.11 - Fish and Wildlife Resources Information <br />• (1) Each application shall include a study of fish and wildlife and <br />their habitats within the proposed permit area and portions of the <br />adjacent area as determined by the Division, or in the case of <br />underground mining, only those areas within the proposed permit area and <br />portions of the adjacent area as determined by the Division where surface <br />mining will be conducted or facilities located and the portions of the <br />permit area where effects on such resources may reasonably be expected to <br />occur. <br />(2) Prior to initiating such studies, the applicant shall contact <br />the Division to determine what fish and wildlife resources information <br />will be required. <br />• <br />C3) 2he Division, in consultation with the appropriate State and <br />2.04-79 <br />
