of the stockpiles identified on Map 15, Topsoil Redistribution. The
samples were analyzed for the parameters specified in the Wyoming
DEQ Guideline No. 1, as follows: pH, Electzical Conductivity,
Saturation Percentage, Particle Size Analysis, Tezture, Sodium
Adsorption Ratio, Organic Matter, Selenium, Boron, Soluble Ca,
Mg,and Na.
Additional data on the physiochemical constitution of the soil
was derived from the four samples taken during the baseline
vegetation investigation. The laboraCOry results from the analysis
of stockpiled materials and undisturbed soil profile samples are
aumarized in Table 36, Soil Chemical and Physical Properties.
. (c) A soils map or enlarged aerial photo of the same scale as
the permit area map shall be provided which accurately portrays:
(i) Soil sample locations and
(ii) The depths to which the operator proposes to strip
topsoil within each portion of the permit area.
The order 3 soils map compiled by the IISDA Soil Conservation
Service was used to prepare the premine soils map of the proposed
persist area. Soil series eaisting within the proposed permit area
• are delineated on Map 19, Hine No. 3 Soils. Sampling Locations used
to determine soil types and boundaries were not recorded by the SCS
2.04-66
