If at the end of the three year term hereof Lessee has not removed all the economically recoverable coal which, in its opinion, may be mined by strip mining methods, Lessee may, by giving written notice to Lessor at least sixty (60) days before the end of such term, extend this lease for one (1) additional year and shal_ make payment therewith of the advance rental payment for that year of $1,000.00. Nothing in this paragraph shall, however, be deemed to increase the obligations of Lessee set forth in the next pre- ceding paragraphs to make payments to Lessor during the term hereof totalling an amount equal to $300.00 per acre of the premises mined by Lessee. • 5.
