<br />tit <br />EXHIBIT "E" s <br />RECLAMATION PLAN <br />Items (1) and (2) are general instructions and comments on preparation of the plan. Specifics <br />start at 2 (a) and are as follows: <br />(2) Explanation of all general requirements for the type of reclamation proposed: <br />(a) A description of the type of reclamation proposed to be achieved in the reclamation of the <br />affected land and why chosen, the amount of acreage accorded to each, and a general <br />discussion of methods of reclamation as related to the mechanics of dirt moving. <br />The applicant has chosen rangeland as the reclamation type of this site at the Lessor's direction. . <br />The maximum acreage that will be affected at any one time will be 30 acres. This is a long-term <br />project for both the applicant & Lessor and could possibly have a life of 30 to 50 years, depending <br />upon business conditions. <br />The mechanics of earthmoving will consist of grading the pit floor and replacing topsoil (growth <br />media) to a depth of 4" to 8" depending upon availability and will probably average 6". The pit floor <br />will be lefr basically flat. Front-end loaders, bulldozers and scrapers or any combination thereof will <br />be used to accomplish this. Any backslopes will be futished at 3H:1 V as stated in the Mining Plan. <br />(b) A comparison of the proposed post-mining land use to other land uses in the vicinity and <br />to adopted state and local land use programs. <br />As stated above, the proposed post-mining land use is rangeland and is typical of the land usage in <br />the immediate vicinity by both the Lessor and others. This is in compliance with adopted state <br />and local land use plans and programs. <br />(c) A description of horv the Reclamation Plan will be implemented to meet each applicable <br />requirement of Section 3.1. <br />3.1.1. Establishing Post Mining Use <br />(i) The applicant, in accordance with the Lessor's wishes, has agreed that rangeland is the most <br />appropriate final use for this property at the present time. The site will be seeded for rangeland <br />similaz to the surrounding areas. <br />(ii) The results of this application, of which this is a part, had all of these decisions formulated into <br />what the applicant believes is an appropriate and workable Reclamation Plan. <br />
