Discharges From Sources Not Specifically Identified /n The Permit <br />For any point source discharge of process water or combined process water/stormwater tlwt has or <br />may reach surface waters of the State, that is not specifically identified in the tables of ejjluent <br />limitations or monitoring conditions listed in sections V/. A. 1. or VI. B. 1. of the rationale, the <br />permittee shall initiate sampling and analysi-r of that discharge as soon as it it discovered. 71te <br />parameters to be analyzed for are those listed in Table VI-6. Monitoring of such discharges shall <br />continue at the frequency shown in Table VI-6 until either the discharge is e[Lninated or the Water <br />Quality Control Division notifies the permittee in writing that the monitoring frequency may be <br />reduced, or mast be increased. <br />b. Discharges From the Valley Leach Facility 71wt Qua(h jor Annual Precipitation or Stornt Exemptions <br />For any drscharge from the Valley Leach Facility that may qua y for the annual precipitation or <br />storm exemptions described in sections VI.A.2 and 3. , the permittee shall initiate sampling and <br />analysis of that discharge as soon as it is discovered. The parameters to 6e analyzed for are those <br />listed in Table VI-6. Monitoring of such discharges shu/( continue at the frequenry shown in Table <br />Vl-6 until the discharge is eliminated. <br />c. Groundwater Monitoring <br />The permittee has developed a groundwater monitoring program in order to satisfy requiremenu <br />specified by [he State Division of Minerals and Geology. It may be necessary ar advamageous for at <br />least some the groundwater data collected to be used in the development of analyses that can <br />demonstrate the permiaee's compliance with the "no discharge" provisions of this CDPS permit. <br />C Reporting <br />Discharge Monitorine Report: Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company must submit a Discharge <br />Monirorittg Report (DMR) on a monthly basis to the Division. This report should contain the required <br />sutrurtariZation of the test results for parameters shown in Table Vl-3 and Pars /. B.1 of the permit.
