EXHIBIT E
RECLAMATION PLAN AND TIMETABLE
1
The operator has selected a reclamation plan of Buffer zone and
' non-critical wildlife habitat as the most versatile and protective
use of the land. Present land uses are Buffer zone and non-critical
~' wildlife habitat.
RECLAMATION PBRFOR!lANCE STANDARDS
' The operator intends to operate the site in compliance with the
Reclamation Perf ormance Standards of Rule 6.
Grading will be performed to create a final topography appropriate
to the planned future land use. When backfilling is necessary,
the operator will replace overburden and waste materials in the mined
' area and will insure that heavy equipment used for this purpose is
compacting the earth sufficiently to achieve good stability. All
' grading will be done in a manner to control erosion and to protect
areas outside the affected land from slides or other damage. All
grading will be completed as soon as feasible after the mining
process. Any ref use will be handled and disposed of in a manner
' , that will control unsightliness and protect the drainage system ~yc~,
from pollution.
There are no acid-forming or toxic materials involved in this
' operation. There will be no drill or auger holes left on the
land. Portals to underground operations will be closed properly and
' reclaimed. The slopes to be revegetated will be capable of being
traversed by farm machinery.
'' This is a dry operation. Water is not a consideration of
standards in this operation.
' The operator has observed only noncritical wildlife and
grazing domestic animals on the affected land at this time.
' In removing the topsoil and overburden to teach the mineral
deposit, the topsoil and overburden will be segregated and stockpiled
separately. If the topsoil is not replaced in a backfilled area
' within a short enough time to avoid deterioration (loss by erosion),
,a.~;c.~i~ ~ ~~.~..~.~.,~~, ,cam.-~
' 11
