Salvage depths for the sknp area soils will be ident- <br />cial to those recrncrended by Fly and Associates for the west pit area <br />soils (see Tab 9, Table 2; Tab 9, Attachment 1, Section ii; and <br />Stripping Isopach and 7bpsoil Stockpile Map, Exhibit 9-2). Approxi- <br />.. <br />mately (20) inches of fair quality "A", "B", and "C" horizon surface <br />and substratum soil will be salvaged. The major limitations for the <br />soil aze the fine textures (sandy clay loam to clay loam) and para- <br />lithic contact with interbedded sandstones and shales. <br />DL -Disturbed Lands O>mplex. The topsoil suitability rating for this <br />map unit is poor or unsuitable due to prior mining disturbance limi- <br />tations.
