Tops:~il will be removed from the buffer area and the areas on <br />which subsoil and spoil will be stocYpiled. <br />2. Remove and stockpile only enough topsoil to complete the first <br />stage of reclamation. Plan to reclaim each stage within one year <br />of topsoil removal. Topsoil loses its desired qualities after one <br />year. <br />5. Should topsoil stockpiles remain for more than one groxing season, <br />then each fall the pile will be lightly harrowed or raY.ed to <br />shatter and incorporate the seed. <br />6. Fertilizing will be required at a rate of 200 pounds per acre of a <br />prelled fertilizer such as a 16-16-16-20. Other prelled <br />fertilizer may be used at a rate to provide 32 units each of idPK <br />with 15 or more units of sulphur. <br />7. Upon final reclamation the topsoil and subsoil may be mixed as <br />the}' are applied. <br />B. Subsoil: <br />Ample subsoil (approximately 12") will (See item D) be removed and <br />stockpiled prior to removal of the under lying materials (spoil and <br />product~.on materialsl.
