General Use: <br />7.. Pit run for road or diY.e subbase. <br />?. Classified or crushed material for road surfacing or for crater <br />conveyance channel lining, etc. <br />3. Reject 3/9 minus with plasticity and crusher fines ample to <br />qualify for road surfacing while crushing clean chips for asphalt <br />pad or hot sealing a highway. <br />B. Final location of produced materials: <br />1. Highway wort. under contract with Federal, State, or Local agency. <br />2. Dirt road surfacing on county roads in the vicinity, generally <br />within fifteen (15) miles. <br />3. DiY.es and canals or other water conveyance channels. <br />C. Tenure: <br />1. The pit will be used annually for an indefinite period of time. <br />Staged production and reclamation will mitigate the long term <br />affects. Estimated life of the lower pit is twenty-five (25) <br />years and of the upper pit is forty (40) years. <br />a. The produced stockpiles will be removed as materials are <br />needed. Under some "contracts" removal vrill be immediate. No <br />stockpiles that are over 12' high will remain for over three <br />years. <br />II. Reclamation Materials: <br />A. Topsoil: <br />Ample topsoil (approximately 12") will (See Item D herein) be removed <br />and stockpiled prior to removal of the underlying materials (subsoil, <br />spoil, and production materials). Stockpiles will be placed out of <br />the way of excavation and production stockpiles. They will not exceed <br />twelve (12) feet in height and will be buffered with enough aria to <br />-10- <br />
