The <br />applicant is in the process of preparing a Nationwide Section 14, Road Crossing <br />404 Permit Application to construct the mine access road across this drainage <br />area wetland. <br />Routt County. The Routt County Master Plan was amended on February 4, 1992 <br />and requires that all sand and gravel mining operations be permitted via a Special <br />Use Permit. Pursuant to these regulations application is concurrently being made <br />with the Routt County Planning Department for the required Special Use Permit <br />needed to operate this gravel pit and haul the aggregate on Routt County Road <br />Number 33A. Routt County has approved the application for a Special Use Permit <br />relative to this project and the formal document which the applicant must sign to <br />accept this permit was only recently received and is being reviewed.
