1 <br />1 <br />5.7 Erosion Protection <br />Coarse gravel and oversized material, if any, from the <br />various fills shall be used as riprap in the drainage diversion <br />channels as shown in the drawings. Selected material shall be <br />placed in loose lifts not less than 12 inches in thickness and <br />shall meet the following specifications: <br />a) Grain size distribution: <br />i) Minus 12 inches, and <br />ii) A maximum of 15 percent by weight passing the No. <br />200 sieve. <br />b) The minus No. 200 sieve material shall be non-plastic; <br />and <br />c) The material shall be free of rubbish, vegetative matter <br />and any deletereous material. <br />N-9 <br />
