<br />(b) Permaueut Mau-Made Structures <br />The following permanent man-made structures are located within the affected area or within <br />approximately two hundred (200) feet of the affected area, a,rd are identified on Exhibit E - <br />Map. The numbers below correspond to the numbered items on Exhibit E -Map. <br />Exhibit E <br />Reference <br />Number <br /> <br />3. <br />4. <br />Structure Owner Location/Comments <br />Grate BLM Installed over the entire entrance to the Brown <br />Derby Mine. The grate was installed by the <br />Division of Minerals and Geology, Office of <br />Inactive Mines, in 1990. It measures approximately <br />25 feet square, and includes a small, hinged and <br />locked access door. It is within the permit <br />boundary. <br />Grate BLM Installed over the entrance to a mine located below <br />and to the west of the Brown Derby Mine. The grate <br />was installed by the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology, Office of Inactive Mines, in 1990. It is <br />approximately the size of a common house door. <br />The grate is not within the permit boundary, and <br />Applicant will not disturb the grate. <br />Grates (2) BLM Two grates are installed side-by-side over the <br />entrance to a mine located above and to the north of <br />the Brown Derby Mine. A two foot by two foot door <br />is installed within the southern grate. The grates <br />were installed by the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology, Office of Inactive Mines, in 1990. They <br />are each approximately seven feet high by six feet <br />wide. The grates are not within the permit <br />boundary, and Applicant does not intend to disturb <br />them. <br />Core Shack BLM Applicant believes [his shack was built by [he <br />and Dump Brown Derby Mine operators during World War II, <br />and was used for drill core storage. A small waste <br />dump is located below the core shack. The shack <br />and dump are not within the permit boundary, and <br />Applicant does not intend to disturb them. <br />Exhibit B - 2 <br />
