M03086GE
information to help identify characteristics which may exist at the
site which will influence the slope stability analysis. We are
available to discuss this with you.
The recommendations outlined above are based on our understanding
of the currently proposed construction. We are available to
discuss the details of our recommendations with you and revise them
where necessary. This geotechnical engineering report is based on
the proposed site development and scope of services as provided to
us by Mr. Jim Stover, J.E. Stover and Associates, on the type of
construction planned, existing site conditions at the time of the
field study, and on our findings. Should the planned, proposed use
of the site be altered, Lambert and Associates must be contacted,
since any such changes may make our suggestions and recommendations
inappropriate. This report should be used ONLY for the planned
development for which this report was tailored and prepared, and
ONLY to meet information needs of the owner and the owner's repre-
sentatives. In the event that any changes in the future design or
location of the building are planned, the conclusions and recommen-
dations contained in this report shall not be considered valid
unless the changes are reviewed and conclusions of this report are
modified or verified in writing. It is recommended that the
geotechnical engineer be provided the opportunity for a general
review of the final project design and specifications in order that
the earthwork and foundation recommendations may be properly
interpreted and implemented in the design and specifications.
This report does not provide earthwork specifications. we can
provide guidelines for your use in preparing project specific
earthwork specifications. Please contact us if you need these for
your project.
This report presents both suggestions and recommendations. The
suggestions are presented so that the owner and the owner's
representatives may compare the cost to the potential risk or
benefit for the suggested procedures.
This report contains suggestions and recommendations which are
intended to work in concert with recommendations provided by the
other design team members to provide somewhat predictable founda-
tion performance. If any of the recommendations are not included
in the design and construction of the project it may result in
unpredictable foundation performance or performance different than
anticipated. We recommend that we be requested to provide geotech-
nical engineering observation and materials testing during the
construction phase of the project as discussed in this report. The
purpose for on site observation and testing by us during construc-
tion is to help provide continuity of service from the planning of
J 10
•
~iam6ert anD ~,ooociateo
OONSUUwG GEOTEON NiGAL ENGINEERS AND
MATE RIAI TESTING
