mining is completed, the steep west headwall shall be
graded to a finished finish backslope of no steeper than 3H
1V by bulldozer "cut and fill" shaping. After increasing
the permit financial warranty to include mining of Unit
II, stockpiled overburden outside the north edge of Unit I
(in Unit II) shall then be dozed into the excavated pit
along with the estimated 4~t-foot depth of overburden that
overlies the south half of Unit II. The overburden dozed
back into Unit I worked-out pit shall then be smoothed to
nearly flat and topsoiled with the Unit I topsoil that was
stockpiled west of Unit I. A wheeled elevating scraper
shall be used to spread the topsoil. Revegetation seeding
and mulching shall follow topsoiling at the next climatic
opportunity.
Permit financial warranty shall be adjusted to credit for
reclamation work performed and/or partially complete in Unit
I mining area, and increased to include the stripping of
topsoil from Unit III.
MINING UNIT II
The 6 to 12 inches of topsoil covering Unit III shall be
stripped and stockpiled 25 feat west of the west edge of
that unit, beginning 400 feet north of the permit/property
southwest corner and extending north the 150-foot width of
that unit. The remainder of overburden from the north half
of Unit II shall be bulldozed into a berm just north of Unit
II (within the south half of Unit III).

Extraction of Unit II gravel resources shall begin at the
east edge of the unit and proceed at full depth of the
deposit (estimated at 8 to 12 feet) and at the full 150-foot
width to the west end. Processing and stockpiling of gravel
products extracted shall occur simultaneously in the
formerly used 4-acre pros/stock area to the south east.
