3.0 FLOODPLAIN IMPACTS <br />The proposed conveyor stands are expected to have little or no impact on the 100 year <br />floodplain. As can be seen on the Elevation Drawing, the 100 year flood surface is not <br />expected to leave the channel of Idaho Creek. Even if the 100 year flood contacted the <br />conveyor stands the flood waters would be shallow and low velocity and the steel stand <br />support members present minimal obstruction of flood flows given the area of the <br />adjacent floodplain. <br />
