2.0 HYDROLOGY <br />The Boulder Creek and Idaho Creek Zone A 100 year floodplain is shown on the FEMA <br />Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) No. 080266-0850C dated September 28, 1982. No <br />base flood elevations are available for the FIRM map. <br />Three sources were used to estimate the 100 year flood water surface elevations shown <br />on the attached Flood Hazard Development Permit Map. They are: <br />• Colorado Water Conservation Board (1977) <br />CP Engineering (April 18, 2001) <br />Tuttle Applegate, Inc. (Nov. 1999) <br />CP Engineering and Tuttle Applegate, Inc. submitted and received approval for Flood <br />Hazard Development Permits on properties immediately south and immediately north of <br />the Duckworth property, respectively. The property to the south is Lafarge's Cottonwood <br />Pit and the property to the north is the Lighthouse Cove development. The approved <br />100 year flood water surface elevations for these properties were used to extrapolate the <br />flood surface elevation at the conveyor crossing Location. The elevations are shown on <br />the Flood Hazard Development Permit Map. <br />
