These signs will be of the size and shape as <br />'~ required by state regulations and shall be placed at least three <br />hundred (300) feet on either side of the point where vehicles enter <br />onto the county road from the permit area. The cost of the signs <br />and necessary materials for their installation shall be paid by <br />the permitee and said signs shall be ihstalled by permitee at its <br />expense under the supervision of the Grand County Sheriff's Depart- <br />ment prior to the commencement of extraction operations on the <br />permit site. <br />6. Storage of Junk and Abandoned Equipment: Neither <br />permitee nor its licensees shall be allowed, under any circumstances, <br />to use the permit area for purposes of storing junk materials, such <br />as abandoned cars and trucks or other equipment which is not capable <br />of operation or any other equipment or materials which are not used <br />in the 'operation contemplated by this permit within a period of six <br />(6) months, Permitee is specifically prohibited from using the <br />permit area as a storage yard for junk equipment or materials, but <br />in no way is it intended that this prohibition shall interfere with <br />permitee's stockpiling of materials which have been extracted from <br />the permit site. Materials which have not been extracted from the <br />site may not be stockpiled on the perr..it area unless they are used <br />for purposes of reclamation within a period of six (6) months after <br />being deposited on the site. <br />7. Co~liance with State Regulations: The permitee <br />shall be subject to all state regulations relating to open mining <br />and specifically shall be subject to the Colorado Open Mining Land <br />-4- <br />
