<br />• Prior to the commencement of the testing procedures, <br />the surface area was entirely resurveyed, with all artifact <br />and feature locations flagged. This practice assists in the <br />determination of site boundary as well as the positioning <br />of the test units and backhoe trenches. <br />The four stratigraphic columns were placed primarily <br />in areas of well developed and easily obtained soil exposures, <br />primarily drainages and deep road cuts. -The columns aided <br />in determining intrasite soils deposition variation. The <br />four test units were utilized to discern cultural occupation/ <br />utilization through controlled excavation.
