~ 4.0

' Reporting Methods
' 4.1 Narrative
With Lafarge, government agencies, and neighbors all interested in results of the
' monitoring process, it is important to provide at least a framework for reporting
information in a clear, concise manner. Reports will be presented on an annual basis,
consisting of a monitoring update and time series plot of each well site. Reports will be
' mailed to the owner of each well that is measured on an annual basis. Other interested
parties may request to be placed on the mailing list. However, the necessary information
is comparative, so until two separate sets of measurements have been collected, it is
difficult to draw any conclusions. From that point forward, an updated report should be
provided on a yearly basis for the life of the mining process.
' The narrative should begin with a summary of the intended information goals as laid out
in this protocol. Then a brief summary outlining any significant results should be
presented. The narrative should include the number of measurements collected at each
' well in tabular format, both before and after dewatering operations have begun. It should
include the selected confidence interval (again, recommended to be at least 90%). The
narrative should note the methods used in analysis and particularly any changes in
protocol or methodology since this protocol was agreed to and implemented.
The bulk of information, however, will be reported in a graphical format.
4.2 Grauhical
' For each well, two graphs created by WQSTAT Plus should be included in any report for
each measured variable. These should include a flow adjusted time series plot and a
Tolerance Limit analysis plot. The plots indicating results will include a graph, as well as
' a range of confidence intervals and whether the results are significant for each interval.
In many ways each graph is self-contained.
Each report should also contain a map clearly labeling all well numbers and property
owners, for ease of determining what well is being referred to in the analysis.

1
1
' 13
