Alpha Equivalents of Confidence Intervals <br />It is necessary to consider how the software package defines the two collected sets of data <br />(pre-mining and during mining). The program considers this an "intrastation" or "single <br />station" analysis. At different locations within the program these two sets may be <br />referred to as upstream and downstream or background and compliance sets. It must be <br />emphasized that tests will only be performed on one well at a time. Therefore, to create <br />this separation, the dates become very important. The program will prompt a user to <br />select the "data used to calculate the control statistics". This corresponds to the pre- <br />mising dates. The program will also prompt for the "Dates to be plotted against the <br />control statistics".
