,~ ~ • <br />I The final use of this land is compatible with surrounding present <br />I uses which are range, pasture, and wildlife habitat. Land uses such as <br />wildlife habitat and pasture are ideally suited to the entire area along <br />I the Clear Creek floodplain. <br />(c) Performance Standards - (Rule 6) The following paragraph letters and <br />I numbers refer to corresponding paragraphs in Rule 6 of the Mined Land <br />I Reclamation Board. <br />6.1 <br />a. Grading will be carried on to create topography to <br />assure proper isolation between the ponds and the <br />I river. No toxic materials exist in the affected area. <br />b. Grading will be continuous and uniform and will be <br />' conducted to minimize erosion and siltation. The <br />characteristics of the soil on the site as described <br />by the soil Conservation Service indicate that the <br />anticipated slopes will preclude any surface instability. <br />I Adjacent areas outside the affected acreage will be <br />protected By proper grading also. <br />I c. All grading will be conducted during the mining as each <br />area is completed. <br />' d. No acid forming or toxic producing materials are known <br />to exist it the overburden or materials to be mined. <br />Refuse will not bE generated on tfie affected land nor <br />will aRy~refuse be disposed of in the mining process. <br />' Pollutlbn of drainage systems will be protected by proper <br />.grading. <br />I e. N.o auger holes, addits or Shafts are associated with this <br />operation. Mining will be conducted so as to prevent <br />harmful or polluting drainage. <br />f. Slopes will be graded to be compatible with the needs of <br />the final land use. No swimming facilities are Included <br />ib the rec1ama.tion plan. Slopes in the ponds established <br />ds ppart of the. reclamation will be no steeper than 2:1. <br />I Depth of the ponds will be approximately 30-40 feet. <br />I g. None of the reclaimed land will be used for either <br />hprti.cultural or agriculture use. <br />1 <br />I <br />
