Because mining is not planned in the area of the
Duncan Ranch and because the ranch is located outside the area of
influence of mining-related surface subsidence effects, the Duncan
Ranch is not discussed in any further detail.
2.1.12 Barton Porter Ranch
The Barton Porter Ranch is located in the southwest quadrant
of the proposed permit area. It consists of assorted ranch
buildings and outbuildings. Because mining is not planned in the
area of the Barton Porter Ranch and because the ranch is located
outside the area of influence of mining-related surface subsidence
effects, the Barton Porter Ranch is not discussed in any further
detail.
•
2.2 RESOURCE LANDS
Resource lands present in the permit and adjacent area are
discussed in Section 3.1 of the permit application.
