Issues that the Division believes are not within the jurisdiction of the Division or Board are <br />listed last. <br />ISSUES WITHIN THE JURISDICTION OF THE DIVISION AND BOARD <br />Issues Raised During The Initial Public Comment Period <br />Exhibit C -Pre-Mining & Mining Plan Maps: <br />1. "To my knowledge [here are two (2) different maps of [he area being made available. The <br />map we received from Adams County ... I believe is the correct one. <br />DMG Response -The applicant verified that the maps provided do correspond with the legal <br />description for the proposed 47.75 acre permit area. The maps sent by Adams County to Mrs. <br />Anderson should not be constmed as the the maps pertaining to the application for a mining and <br />reclamation permit from the State of Colorado, File No. M-2001-038. <br />Exhibit E- Reclamation Plan: <br />2. "there is going to be a lot of damage done to the ground by removing the sand and the <br />minerals along with it." (Dorothy Anderson; June 30, 2001) <br />DMG Response -The applicant has provided an adequate reclamation plan to backfill and grade <br />disturbed slopes to a configuration of no greater than 3H:1 V, replace available topsoil, and <br />revegetate with a rangeland grass seed mix. <br />
