• described in Section 2.04.6 in the text.
There are no identifiable hazards which are
known or projected to exist to structures as a
result of the contact. Drilling information
does not lend any information to the
evaluation. Well PC-1 has been abandoned and
is not available for information or use in the
submission of data.
P.7 No.l The text has been reworded to respond to the
characterization of the aquifers
lithologically. See Section 2.04.7(1)(a)(ii).
P.7 No.2 Well 82-5 was eliminated by the mining
operation and is no longer available to the
operation. Well 82-1 has been added to the
list of wells for monitoring and analysis.
P.7 No.3 The reference to the Peerless Gulch Coal Mine
was removed from the text.
HYDROLOGIC
IMPACTS
• P.7 No.l Well 82-6 was a mis-numbering of the original
Well 82-1. Well 82-1 was drilled at the south
end of the pit and never was drilled below the
gravel due to problems with gravel falling in
the hole. After this area has been mined for
gravel, the original well will be deepened or
offset to provide a south end monitoring
point. No logs are available from the
original drilling of the well. The well will
be monitored in the future.
P.7 No.2 As set forth above there is no Well 82-6. The
application has been corrected to reflect the
change. Page 5-35 was corrected to read Well
82-4 instead of Well 82-3.
P.8 No.3 The monitoring wells have been located outside
of the planned pit disturbance as much as
possible. The operation will extract coal
from the three coal seams. Due to the lack of
identifiable water bearing Zones, it is
difficult if not impossible to isolate and
test individual fractures or coal bearing
zones. Page 4-10 was corrected as per item a
• under this question. The proposed monitoring
plan as revised was included in the permit
application. The Hoverman well belongs to
another owner and Oakridge does not have
