The attached "COMPARISON" report shows that it's actually more cosC effective to use <br />the D10N rather that the DBN for pond reclamation. In reality, what will happen once <br />the ponds are to be reclaimed, possibly 10 years after the site is reclaimed, is <br />that a local contractor from Nayden or Craig will be contracted to conduct this <br />minor reclamation effort. Peabody has re-estimated the cost using a 08N dozer. <br />~. The push distances have now been included in the EMF printouts. <br />3. The cost for reclaiming the leach field is now included. <br />A. The ditches associated with the roads will be reclaimed when the roads are ripped, <br />`~ graded and topsoiled. Ditches not associated with the roads that divert runoff to <br />the ponds will be reclaimed at the time the ponds are reclaimed. These costs have <br />now been included. <br />FINAL GRADING <br />/ 5. It has not been a procedure for Peabody or any of its contractors to final grade <br />areas with anything other then the grading equipment. Due [o the fact that this <br />situation is somewhat different due to the railroad, and a specific cost was not <br />assigned to this task after ballast removal, the Divisions cost for this task has <br />been included. <br />11 <br />
