- ~~~~~ ` ~
t,,~
.~
~~,
- ~. The cross sections are included in this submittal.
~/4. A -10X grade was not used to regrade all aspects of the (mine) loadout, only the
loop and spur track. As stated, the reclaimed slopes ranged from Sh:1v and 10h:1v or
20X end 10X.
~5. Push distances for all dozer activities are now included in Attachment 23-3.
~~ The cost for ripping is now included.
IMPOUNDMENTS
V 7. The attached "COMPARISON" report shows that it's actually more cosC effective to use
the D10N rather that the DBN for pond reclamation. In reality, what will happen once
the ponds are to be reclaimed, possibly 10 years after the site is reclaimed, is
that a local contractor from Nayden or Craig will be contracted to conduct this
minor reclamation effort. Peabody has re-estimated the cost using a 08N dozer.
~. The push distances have now been included in the EMF printouts.
3. The cost for reclaiming the leach field is now included.
A. The ditches associated with the roads will be reclaimed when the roads are ripped,
`~ graded and topsoiled. Ditches not associated with the roads that divert runoff to
the ponds will be reclaimed at the time the ponds are reclaimed. These costs have
now been included.
FINAL GRADING
/ 5. It has not been a procedure for Peabody or any of its contractors to final grade
areas with anything other then the grading equipment. Due [o the fact that this
situation is somewhat different due to the railroad, and a specific cost was not
assigned to this task after ballast removal, the Divisions cost for this task has
been included.
11
