<br /> <br />2.04.3 <br />The requested narrative description on the capability <br />and productivity of the land "affected or to be affected by <br />surface operations and facilities" remains specifically within <br />and a part of Sections 4.7 (Soils) and 4.8 (Vegetation) with <br />Potential Production - Forage described in Table 9.7-3. <br />Section 4.1.2.3 has been rewritten as requested to address <br />the potential for uses other than that proposed in post-mining <br />land use-plans for the areas affected by surface operations <br />and facilities. <br />2.04.4 ~v/~ <br />3' <br />All questions and reques i ormation have been provided <br />in Appendix J and in Secti n 4.1.3 o the text. Supplemental <br />~.i.5 <br />information has now been prove e relative to later historic <br />periods and sample selection procedures. <br />An explicit statement has been included that all areas <br />of potential surface disturbance have been physically surveyed, <br />.• and that the three sites in question are not within an area to <br />be affected. <br />Exact survey areas are shown on Figure 3 of the latest <br />report contained in Appendix J. Areas physically surveyed are <br />shown relative to the permit areas which, when cross-referenced <br />with other figures in the mine plan, especially Figure 2.2-1, <br />clarifies that such areas were physically transected. A legal <br />description of the survey is provided on page 3 of the latest <br />report. <br />-2- <br />
