<br />Energy Pit Ik3 and north of the previously indicated Pit U1. <br />Energy Fuels began the start-up of overburden removal and <br />plant construction at Pit 43 in 1974. During 1975, a new <br />crushing and unit train rail car loading plant at Pit ~3 xas <br />completed, and the first production shipments were made from <br />the mine. Should Energy Fuels be axarded a lease on <br />the subject tract, they propose a continuation of their <br />present operation to mine the federal coal xithin the <br />subject tract. <br />The existing operation currently follows the outcrop of the <br />Wadge coal seam and is advancing to the south of the Energy <br />Pit 43 tipple facilities. The total recoverable reserve <br />base xithin the application parcel is estimated to be <br />2,429,846 tons recoverable from the Wadge seam, xhich <br />averages about 13 feet thick across the parcel.
