-s-

2.04.12 This section refers to a lack of prime farmland. A letter
from the local SCS office confirming this will need to be
included as an exhibit.
2.04.13 A date when the Annual Reclamation Reports will be
submitted is required. Negative reports need to be
submitted if no reclamation has been accomplished.
2.05.3(2) Page 5-6(6) states the steady state pit will be
approximately 1,000,000 cubic yards, but on page 5-16(3)
the volume is reportedly 2,000,000 cubic yards. This
needs to be corrected. Page 5-9 (5) states the haul road
will remain as permanent access. The letter must state
which portions of the haul road will be retained and give
sufficient justification as to why the haul road
(especially the size of the road) will benefit the post
mining land use.
2.05.3(3)(c) Page 5-10(7) states sizing designs for the culverts are
included in Appendix 5-2. This data was not included.
Page 5-12(1) states water consumption is estimated at
75 acre feet per year, water rights for this water must be
allocated.
2.05.3(4) Each of the diversion and drainage ditch designs should
include the following:
1. Equations, calculations, and assumptions on the
program used.
2. Typical cross sections.
3. Roughness coefficients.
4. Slopes.
