The location of Class III <br />Roads is determined largely by the immediate need <br />of the mining operation, but as much as possible they <br />are located on ridges and stable slopes. P1o Class IZI <br />Roads will be located in wet, steep, or unstable areas <br />where complete restoration under 30 CFR 816.176 cannot <br />be accomplished. (v3, p, 816-221) <br />The Applicant will comply. <br />g) Alignment with subsequent Class I or II roads. If a <br />Class III Road alignment coincides with the proposed <br />alignment of a Class I or II Road, the roadway will be <br />constructed within 6 months to meet the criteria of <br />the proposed road. .Otherwise, the Class III Road will <br />be removed and revegetated.
