816.165 Roads: C1a~Il: piaintenance (cont <br />b) Repairs. The measures for Class II road repair <br />are the same as for Class I (section 816.155(b)). <br />(v3, 816-217) <br />The Applicant will comply. <br />816.166 Roads: Class II: Restoration <br />a) Restoration. Roads shall be closed, drainage <br />restored, and the right of way reclaimed in accor- <br />dance with sections 816.111-816.116. (v3, p. 816-218) <br />The Applicant will comply. <br />b) Road surfacing. All surface materials are non-toxic <br />and will be covered with topsoil as described in <br />section 816.24. (v3, p. 816-218) <br />Stipulation: Gravel road surfacing should be <br />loosened prior to retopsoiling if to be in compliance <br />with 30 CFR 816.24(b). <br />The Applicant will comply, with the stipulation. <br />816.170 Roads: Class III: General <br />a) Minimize erosion, pollution and damage to public <br />or private property. Class III roads are temporary <br />and located in working areas within the mining or <br />reclamation areas. They are restored as soon as <br />their usefulness is complete. (v3, pp. 816-218-219) <br />The Applicant will comply. <br />b) Fish, wildlife and related environmental values. <br />Class III Roads, whether in the pit or other areas <br />are constructed using to the extent possible the best <br />technology currently available to avoid damage to <br />fish, wildlife, and related environmental values, <br />and to prevent additional contributions of suspended <br />solids to streamflow or to runoff outside the permit <br />area. Roads in pit areas are constructed on already <br />disturbed material. Reclamation access roads and <br />exploration roads are restored immediately after they <br />are no longer needed. (v3, p. 816-219) <br />The Applicant will comply. <br />c) Removal and revegetation. All Class III Roads will be <br />completely removed, regraded, and revegetated (section <br />. 816.176). (v3, pp. 816-219-220) <br />The Applicant will comply. <br />
