816.160 Roads: Cl~s II: General (cont.) • <br />designed to meet the requirements of 30 CFR 815.163. <br />(v3, p. 816-204) <br />The Applicant will comply. <br />c) Removal and regrading. At such time as Class II <br />Roads are no longer needed for mining and reclama- <br />tion operations, they will be removed, regraded and <br />revegetated in accordance with 30 CFR 816.166. <br />(v3, p. 816-205) <br />The Applicant will comply. <br />d) Professional supervision. The maintenance of all <br />roads within the permit area will be under the direct <br />supervision of the Applicant's Chief Civil Engineer, <br />who is a registered professional engineer. The <br />grade, alignment, and other design criteria of the <br />existing Class II Roads are adequate in light of the <br />voltmme of traffic and weight and speed of the <br />vehicles. Most traffic consists of pick up trucks. <br />ido alternative specifications will be submitted. <br />(v3, pp. 816-205-206) <br />The Applicant will comply. <br />816.161 Roads: Class II: Location <br />a) Ridges or stable slopes. Roads <br />are located away from stream channels. (v3, p. 816-206) <br />The Applicant will comply. <br />c) Stream fords are prohibited. All crossings are made <br />using culverts. (v3, p. 816-206) <br />The Applicant will comply. <br />d) Location to minimize flooding. Roads are located <br />away from the Forded Creek channel.
