<br />Page 5, Item IV.A.: <br />As a result of information that has previously been submitted to the Division <br />and further discussion of the matter at the February 17, 1982 meeting, it was <br />determined that: <br />1. At the area in question, 30 inches is an appropriate stripping depth. <br />2. No additional sampling will be required in this area. <br />3. The reclamation cost estimate for the refuse disposal area as previously <br />submitted to the Division is adequate. <br />Page 5, ITEM V.C.: <br />It was determined that drawing D-700 in Volume IV of the permit application <br />dated February 10, 1981 adequately depicts post-mining topography of the loadout. <br />Therefore, no additional submittal will be necessary. <br />Page 6, Item VIII.C.: <br />The study area for the AVF determination at the mine will be expanded to <br />include areas in and adjacent to the life of mine boundary as well as all of <br />Thompson Creek down to its confluence with the Crystal River. Portions of the <br />AVF information previously submitted pertaining to North and Middle Thompson <br />Creeks will be rewritten in order to clarify our findings. <br />Page 7, Item X.A.: <br />The information requested concerning the Keiser-Sewers ditch was submit- <br />ted to the Division on December 4, 1981. <br />Page 6, Item VII: <br />(Please refer to the memo from Mr. Roy Cox dated December 2, 1981). <br />Page 3, Item A.l.: <br />Due to a lack of drill hole information it will not be possible to provide <br />a more detailed geologic cross-section B-B than has been previously submitted as <br />acknowledged and accepted by Mr. Cox at the February 17, 1982 meeting. <br />Page 3, Item A.3.: <br />Additional literature research will be conducted to gather all currently <br />available information pertaining to the unnamed syncline to the west of the <br />mining operation. <br />Page 3, Item B.1&2.: <br />Portions of the ground water hydrology section will be rewritten in order <br />to clarify our findings pertaining to regional flow and the effect of mining on <br />stream flows of North and Middle Thompson Creeks. <br />
