Five <br />4. Pursuant to Notice of Violation H81-13 issued as azesult of the <br />April, 1981 mine inspection please note that abatement calls <br />for the submission of a technical revision to permit k78-252. <br />Upon approval of this revision, the appropriate modifications <br />must be made to update this application. Additionally, this <br />new road does not qualify as an existing structure. For pur- <br />poses of this application, it must meet aI1 the requirements <br />set forth in Rule 9.03.1 as well as 2.05.3(3)(c). 2.05.3(3)(b) <br />2. Ponds, Impoundments, Diversions <br />1. Sediment removed from the dention ponds may not be placed in <br />existing topsoil piles unless it is tested for the appropriate <br />parameters (pH, texture, SAR, Ec, etc.) and found to he <br />suitable plant growth medium. 2.05.3(4)(ii)(c) <br />3. Topsoil <br />1. Salvage depths of topsoil and subsoil removed during each <br />phase of the operation should be discussed or illustrated in a <br />table. This is necessary to assist in the evaluation of the <br />reclamation p1an.2.05.3(5) <br />2. The applicant should state pit dimensions, overburden volumes <br />and estimated swell factors for each phase of the operation. <br />Table 5 is referenced as containing this information. Table 5 <br />gives figures for overburden and innerburden textures only. <br />This information is needed to evaluate the reclamation plan <br />and the ability to achieve the proposed post-mining topography. <br />2.05.3(6) <br />bfine plan Map N12 needs to show areas of overburden storage. <br />2.05.3(6) <br />Section 2.05.4 Reclamation Plan <br />1. Table 1, Reclamation Timetable needs to be clarified. It shows a total <br />of 82.94 acres disturbed and 51.57 acres reclaimed. An explanation of <br />the 30 odd acre discrepancy is needed. Also, a detailed reclamation <br />timetable must be submitted showing approximate dates for topsoil re- <br />distribution, seeding, mulching, etc. 2.05.4(2)(a) <br />2. The applicant needs to provide a detailed timetable for back filling and <br />grading to demonstrate compliance with Rule 4.14.1(c). Also, needed <br />is a more detailed discussion of back filling, soil stabilization, com- <br />pacting and grading in accordance with 4.14. 2.05.4(2)(e) <br />3. The applicant needs to submit a detailed revegetation schedule showing <br />approximate dates of revegetation efforts to restore areas disturbed <br />during each phase of the operation. 2.05,4 (2)(e)(i) <br />
