2.09.7(2)
"Peak Runoff and Volume" and "10-Year Flow Quantities" for the
McClane Canyon ephemeral channel were estimated and presented
in Tables 4.2-11 and 4.2-12. As noted in Section 4.2.7 (page
4-17a), surface water gauging stations will be installed on
East Salt Creek and in McClane Canyon during the spring of 1981.
More accurate flows can be presented at that time along with
water quality data from these stations.
2.04.7(4)
All hydrology related figures (maps) were redone to afford
greater detail on topographic features. All named tributaries
have been identified.
2.04.8
1. Monthly and annual mean, maximum and minimum water equivalent
precipitation totals were originally provided in Table 4.5-1.
2. The rotated wind rose in Figure 4.6-1 was taken directly
from the West Central Colorado Coal EIS which addressed this
operation on a site specific basis. As no site specific meteor-
ological data was accumulated, the wind rose was presented to
show general meteorological conditions of the area.
3. The meteorological station in question was located_in Spink
Canyon, to the north of the McClane operation and is not site
specific to the mine as noted in Section 4.6.
