•w <br />2.04 MINIMUM REQUIP.EMENTS FOR INFORMFVTZON ON ENVIRONMEPITAL RESOURCES <br />2.04.3 General Requirements: Site Description and Land Use Information <br />The applicant has not adequately addressed the requirements of Rule <br />2.04.3(3). The applicant uses Maps I-1 to delineate the extent of present <br />and past mining activities, however, the extent of past mining activities <br />as identified on Table III-43 are not shown on this map. The applicant <br />should modify Map I-1 to include the extent of the coal or other minerals <br />removed from the mines identified in Table III-43 and provide a discussion <br />of those mines as required by Rule 2.09.3(3). This information could be <br />integrated with the related information request found in appendix B, <br />page 5, 2nd paragraph. <br />2.04.4 Cultural historic Resources Information <br />The applicant has submitted excerpts from archeological reports and <br />Letters. Complete copies of the reports and letters are necessary for <br />review of the application. The applicant's consultants have been <br />contacted regarding the missing information. Breternitz, 12/21/70 Appendix IZI-Z <br />The site forms for all sites identified in the application should be <br />submitted as well as any other information pertaining to cultural <br />resources in the permit area. <br />2.04,5 General Description of hydrology and Geology <br />Clarification is necessary in the hydrology description to identify the <br />seasonal fluctuations of water quality and quantity in the general area. <br />Specifically, information is requested for the Big Bottom area, the <br />Round Bottom area and immediately upstream on the Williams Fork River. <br />Additional information is available from tl~e annual USGS Water Resources <br />Data for Colorado, USGS Open File Report 78-23, EPA-600/7-80-151, The <br />Assessment of Energy Resource Development Impact on Water Quality and <br />information available at the office of the Colorado State Engineer's (2,09.5(1](a]). <br />2.04.6 Geology Description <br />(2) Underground Mining.
