.,
`~.
Mr. D. Larry Damrau -5- January 23, 1985
3. Map 5 does not identify, nor the text reference Trout Creek downstream
of the confluence with Fish Creek as having unconsolidated streamlaid deposits
holding streams. It is probable that this area qualifies as an alluvial
valley floor. It needs to addressed.
4. 41e11 008-AtJ-3 is referred to as a shallow ground water well. From the
Longitudinal Stream Channel Cross-Section, i•1ap 6 at Point B (which is located
at this well) it does not appear to be any different stratigraphically from
the rest of the stream channel alluvium. Some justification should be given
as to why this is a shallow ground water well and not an alluvial well. Well
logs should be submitted and water levels shown on the cross-section.
5. Page 2.06-15, the second paragraph appears to be referencing Middle
Creek and yet references 1.1ap 6 which contains Fish Creek stream channel
cross-sections. It is somewhat confusing and needs clarification.
6. Page 2.05-85 references Middle Creek regaining the natural level of
sediment. This should be Fish Creek.
Alternative Water Supply Information
1. There appears to be some information missing from the third sentence of
this response.
The above items were identified in the permit revie~.v. Please review them and
if you have questions or additional information to submit we can disc~.iss them
in a meeting.
f; ... ~,F~.~n '- ..;~1 h„ fl~o qp,.i ~.,~a}i.~n ~, ~.,f 1.x11 i` "°:C~'~'l f,lhl~ fni• the ~i ai ~Y~, Phi,
Sincerely,
l ~. u
Sandra L.
