784.24 <br />(a) Provide more detailed specifications for each road width, <br />road gradient, road surface, road cut, fill embankment, <br />culvert, bridge, drainage ditch, and drainage structure. <br />(b) Provide a positive or negative statement as to whether <br />alternative specifications or steep cut slopes were in- <br />volved in road construction pursuant to 817.150 (d), <br />817.151. (c), 817.16 (d), or 817.162 (c). If positive, <br />provide a report of appropriate geotechnical analysis. <br />(c) Provide a more detailed description of measures taken <br />in alterinb natural drainage ways (i.e. details on the <br />culvert size, rip-rap and placement of boulders at the <br />point where the access road crosses Hubbard Creek,) <br />(d) Provide a description of measures taken to protect the <br />inlet end of any installed culverts. <br />(e) Provide a more detailed general description of the roads <br />constructed, used or maintained within the proposed MPA. <br />784.26 <br />(a) Air Monitoring Program - The Applicant has not recommended <br />a monitoricig program. However, one is not required unless <br />the Colorado Air Pollution Control Division (APCD) specif- <br />ically requires one for that mine. There is no indication <br />that the APCil has requested this of the Applicant. <br />(b) Fugitive Dust Control Plan - Applicant shows calculations <br />of the amount of fugitive dust emissions expected from all <br />the separate operations. Applicant does not anticipate <br />that abatement procedures will be required on the coal as <br />it comes form the mine due to the fact that it is very wet. <br />However, Applicant plans to implement water sprays in the <br />following areas for dust control: <br />• access road <br />• in and around mine area <br />• portal Uench <br />• coal conveyor <br />• coal storage. <br />The Applicant should state whether or not he is committing <br />to abatement procedures. <br />12 <br /> <br />
