_,;_ <br />• 2.05.3(3)(c) Operation Plan - Roads <br />\J <br />The apolicant should submit infornation concerning the possibility of <br />upgrading roads c/ithin the permit az'ea, Specifically, if roads are to be <br />upgraded what c/i11 be the final dimensions and grade? tlhat types of <br />drainage control will be implemented? Wii1 there be any cut and fill ~ <br />work? <br />If this information is not submitted the applicant will be required to <br />submit a revision before any road alteration other than routine maintenance <br />is begun. Additionally, no new roads mzy be constructed until a revision <br />is submitted and approved by the Division. <br />2.05.3(3)(c)(v)(A) Operation Plan - Roads <br />In order to be found in compliance with 2.07.G(2)(d)(iv), the applicant <br />must submit documentation from the La Plata County Highway Gepartment, <br />stating that, they are aware and have no objection to your operating <br />within 100 feet of Highway 120. <br />2,05.3(3) Operation Plan - Underground Development rJaste <br />The applicant states that there c/i11 be no surface storage of underground <br />development waste. If this is the case, the applicant must be aware that <br />at no time during the operation may any additional material be stored on <br />the surface. <br />2.05.4(2)(c) Reclamation Plan - Hackfil2i <br />The applicant has submitted a generic plan for backfilling and grading. <br />In order to review the application and make the required written finding <br />the applicant must prepare a mass balance demonstration to clarify the <br />indicated sources of material to be used to backfill and regrade the surface <br />facilities area. Such demonstration shall include an amended description <br />of material sources and techniques of material placement to be utilized. <br />Volume calculations shall be completed detailing the volume of fill required <br />and the volume of material to be obtained from each source, such as salvage <br />of existing benches, deposition of sediment from sediment ponds, and <br />the disposal of demolished surface facility debris. <br />Further, the applicant must prepare an appropriate geotechnical and <br />stability analysis of the proposed backfilled configurations for the portal <br />bench areas at the Peacock CoalPJine.Theseanalyses shall utilize accepted <br />slope stability mathematical analysis techniques, material strength <br />determinations and appropriately detailed yootechnical kno:/ledne of the <br />site, in order to complete the required stability demonstration. <br />• <br />
