I must say that I am hig}~ly
impressed with the revegetation program you are undertaking.

I would like to comment on the reclaimed area on Fish Creek that
was seeded in 1974. I would rate the seeded stand as averaging
"good" and I consider any stand that rates good or better as being
successful seeding. Based on observations on other seeded stands in north-
west'Colorado, I believe that this stand will continue to fill in. _
also believe [hat this will become a moderately high yielding pasture.
Yield appeared to be fairly good in 1975 in spite of very low rainfall.
I thinl: that this pasture could be lightly to moderately grazed wit: out
damage; in fact, grazing might cause the stand to thicken.
Since/rel~y~y~ours, n,' /~/J
~/`lam ,.~2%fi~F"^' ~ j~av/~y .~+~,~L
William J.
