<br />Approxi.mat-ely 80 percent occupied the Claypan <br />range site with approximately 10 percent on the Salt Flats <br />range site. Ttic remainder was split between the Mountain. <br />Loam and Dcep Clay Loam sites. Production in August of 1977 <br />was found to be 1,263 pounds of dry matter per acre. Gi~-en <br />the extreme adversity of the climatic conditions encountered <br />since seeding, the plant yields far surptiss the expectations <br />contained in the Soil Conservation Scrvicc Range Site <br />Descriptions and Soil Survey Interpetations. <br />In summary, t}~e standards that have been developed cyer <br />the past 100 years of range reseeding research indicate t'.~at <br />reclamation has been completed on this site in spite of <br />soil, rodent and drought problems encountered and, there- <br />fore, the request made by Energy Fuels to obtain a final <br />bond release from this area should be granted. <br />• r..-., <br />
