Install locking grate over adit #2, rip all compacted work are as and <br /> seed and fence disturbed areas. <br />Backfill the four open ad its and subsidence feature at the Leader #2 and #3 mines using <br />riprap and spoil material from the nearby spoil piles. Regrade and topsoil borrowed waste <br />pile areas. Install steel pipe over the backfilled openings and seed and fence disturbed <br />areas. <br />Loma Z: Production from Walsen and Cameron beds (reference 2). <br />Maitland *: One horizontal opening and one vertical opening. Ad it is 3'-4' high, 7' wide, and more <br />No. 1 than 50' long. Air shaft is 5'x5'x20' deep and lies at west end of air fan housing ruin. <br />No access deterrent. <br />Maitland S: Subsidence pit 15'x15'x10' deep over ad it of Maitland No. 2 Mine. <br />No. 2 <br />Major No. 1 *: Vertical opening. Air shaft is about 10' across and deeper than 50'. Air fan housing is <br />perched at top but 5' gap has formed on east side.
