TABLE TWO -- HUERFANO COUNTY <br />MINE NAME COMMENTS ON FEATURES <br />Gordon S: Two adjacent subsidence pits with a combined length of 70', 10' wide and 10' deep. <br />Reclamation: In Spring 1983, two subsidence features were backfilled and several collapsed <br />structures and assorted debris were cleaned up around the site. Revegetated and fenced <br />Fall 1983. <br />Gordon *: Two inclined openings and one vertical opening. The north incline is 5' high, 8' wide, and <br />(Old) 20' long. Southern incline is 4' high, 4' wide, and 20' long. No access deterrents for <br /> inclines. Air shaft is 5'x5'x50' deep. Opening is covered by dete riorating wood boards. <br /> Access deterrence poor. <br />Hazilt *: One incline opening and two vertical openings. Incline is 4' high, 10' wide and 15' long. <br /> One air shaft is a pit 15' across filled with trash. One is 5'x7'x2' deep; the other pit is a 4' deep crown hole <br /> 1' across at the top widening to about 4' at the bottom. <br />Larrimore Reclamation under way (Fall 1983). Backfill the open ad it and six subsidence features at <br />Laramie <br />; the Laramie mine using a graded fill technique. Regrade the large spoil pile and rip all <br />Jackson compacted work areas. Topsoil the regraded waste pile and seven ba ckfilled areas. Install <br />(Beacon) a steel pipe monument over the center of each backfilled opening.
