TABLE TWO -- BOULDER COUNTY <br />MINE NAME COMMENTS ON FEATURES <br />Cracker Jack Reclamation scheduled for Spring of 1984; backfilling by the city of Boulder. <br />(Old) <br />Eldorado *: Uertical opening. Shaft has collapsed forming ovate pit 30' long, 20' wide, and 15' deep. <br />At the bottom of the pit is a vertical opening 5' long, 3' wide, which goes down an unknown <br />distance. Some timbering visible at mouth of opening. <br />Pit 60' west of Colorado 93. Pit not present in 1969 airphotos nor was it directly noted <br />in field work done by Amuedo and Ivey in 1974. <br />Reclamation scheduled Spring 1984; backfilling by the city of Boulder. <br />Electric S: Subsidence pit, 6' long, 5' wide, 4.5' deep, appeared May 11, 1974, probably above <br />Electric Mine airshaft. <br />Enterprise S: Subsidence swales? Field southwest of turnpike has low, rolling depressions which may be <br />due to subsidence. <br />Fireside S: Subsidence cluster? Shallow depressions 2' to 3' deep; may have been caused by subsidence <br />over rooms of the Fireside Mine. <br />*: Inclined opening. Portal of incline is 4' high and 8' wide; incline is intact for at least <br />60' underground. Mine rooms may exist even further back.
