<br />TABLE TWO -- BOULDER COUNTY <br />MINE NAME COMMENTS ON FEATURES <br />Acme S: Subsidence pit? Closed depression 25' in diameter occurs in this area. Depression may be <br /> related to subsidence over part of the Acme mine workings. <br />Big Five S: Subsidence over Big Five mine reported to have disrupted Goodhue ditch in 1941. <br /> Subsidence of a few feet per year continued for a few years thereafter. <br />Big Lake S: Possible subsidence pits visable near road by Big Lake Mine. <br />Black Diamond S: Subsidence cluster. Shallow subsidence pits above collapsed roams of the Old Black Diamond <br />(Old) Mine. Pits average 5' in diameter and 2' in depth. <br />Black Diamond S: One half inch separation between bricks in garage over the mine; may be d ue to subsidence <br />No. 1 or due to swelling soils. <br />Black Diamond S1: Depression, 10' long, 8' wide, and 4' deep: possibly over airshaft. <br />No. 2 <br /> Sz: Slight sag in this area is reported to be subsidence induced. <br />Blue Goose <br />(Blue Ribbon) <br />and S: Subsidence pit cluster. Numerous subsidence pits over rooms of the Blue Goose and the <br />Cactus Cactus Mines.
