This is mostly between Cameron and the U.S. Forest <br />Service boundary and between North Cheyenne and Colorado Springs. <br />The mitigation of land owners' rights is for the construction of acoustic barriers, <br />fencing, landscaping, and any other expense necessary to make the railroad a good <br />neighbor. <br />The budget line item to build, repair, and replace bridges, tunnels, and grading <br />i represents all the cost associated with constructing a railroad grade ready to accept the <br />ballast, ties and rail. This includes the access to Colorado Springs, repairing several <br />tunnels and replacing the necessary bridges. <br />t Track materials and ballast is the cost to supply and deliver materials for the track <br />system to the site. <br />The labor to install the track system is the cost to install the track system on the <br />prepared railroad grade and bridges. <br />~ Remodel and new structures cost is the money necessary to construct depot <br />facilities in Colorado Springs and Cripple Creek; build a maintenance structure in the <br />~ Cripple Creek area; and remodel the existing Victor depot (now privately owned, to be <br />~ purchased). <br />~ Signals and grade crossing protection would be the necessary automobile <br />protection systems that may be needed for the safety of motorists and pedestrians. <br />1 <br />
