November 22, 1999
James Dillie
Division of Minerals 8 Geology
1313 Sherman St RM 215
Denver CO 80203-2273
Dear Mr. Dillie:
This letter is a formal complaint about the effects of the blasting from the Cripple Creek
8 Victor Mining Company.
Our building often shakes when the mining company blasts in their permit area.
Granted, their blasts are within "government standards" but we object to feeling THEIR
blasts in OUR building. This can not be 'good' for our 100 year old building, nor is this
'good' for us personally.
We have tried to handle this one on one with the mining company, but to no avail,
therefore, we are turning to you.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Sam & Karen Morrison
114 South Third Street
Post Office Box 53
Victor, CO 80860-0053
719-689-2346
