Monitoring of noise levels may be required. Such <br /> monitoring will be conducted in accordance with accepted professional <br /> practices and procedures, and records shall be available on-site to the <br /> County for inspection and copies. <br /> 7.2.5 Air Quality standard. Air quality standards are established, reviewed, and <br /> enforced by authorized State and federal agencies. The operations shall <br /> comply with applicable State and federal air quality standards. <br /> 7.2.6 Lighting and Glare. In addition to the general requirement for lighting in <br /> the Teller County Land Use Regulations (LI-20, Lighting), permanent or <br /> semi-permanent fixed-position lighting for new operations shall be <br /> provided by equipment that is designed, installed, and operated to direct <br /> the light downward. For personal safety, permanent fixed base welding <br /> equipment and similar sources of intense light shall be shielded from <br /> neighboring properties or public ways. Temporary portable/ mobile light <br /> plants shall be downcast, and shielded from adjacent residential areas, <br /> and public roadways, to the greatest extent possible. The operations shall <br /> comply with applicable State and federal standards. <br /> 7.2.7 Vibrations and Blasting standard. Vibration and blasting standards for <br /> mining operations are established, reviewed, and enforced by authorized <br /> State and federal agencies, where such standards exist. The operations <br /> shall comply with applicable State and federal standards. <br /> -7.2.8 Hazardous Substances standard. Applicable hazardous substances <br /> management requirements are established, reviewed, and enforced by <br /> appropriate State and federal agencies. <br /> 7.2.9 Water - Surface Water standard. Applicable water quality standards are <br /> established, reviewed, and enforced by authorized State and federal <br /> agencies. The operations shall comply with applicable State and federal <br /> water quality standards. <br /> 7.2.10 Water - Ground Water standard. Ground water impact shall comply with <br /> applicable state and federal requirements. <br /> 7.3 Infrastructure is, or will be, adequate and available. <br /> 7.3.1 Infrastructure requirements of the Teller County Land Use Regulations <br /> (IN-04, Infrastructure) concerning Roads, Water Service, Sewer Service, <br /> Public Safety, and Fire must be met. <br /> 7.3.2 Drainage standard - Modifications affecting the runoff characteristics of <br /> established drainage basins shall not adversely impact downstream <br /> properties. Impacts of concern are erosion, sedimentation, and flooding. <br /> Other water quality or quantity impacts may be subject to separate State <br /> or federal regulations. The County may refer concerns regarding other <br /> impacts to agencies enforcing such regulations. <br /> Consistent with the standards established in the Teller County <br /> Land Use Regulations, the evaluation of these impacts, and design of <br /> appropriate mitigation measures, shall be documented in the form of a <br /> CCMOD - Effective May 25, 2000 16 <br />
