III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />structure associated with the coal reclaim tunnel andescapeway structure. The base of the raw coal stacker <br />remains in place, approximately 20 to 25 feet tall. There was a quantity ofrubblized and broken up steel <br />reinforced concrete piled at the base of the cut slope in the vicinity of the stacker. Also, there was one pile <br />of mostly scrap metal approximately 100 feet long by 20 feet wide by 15 feet high near the guard shack, <br />and another similar pile behind the wash plant shop building. <br />Pond 8 was essentially dry, with only a fewshallow frozen puddles. Pond 9 was dry. Some sediment <br />accumulation was noted in the collection ditch to Pond 8 along the base of the RSRDA, approximately 200 <br />feet up-gradient from the pond inlet. This secrlon ojthe ditch should be cleaned our. <br />The backfilled Northwest Intake portal was inspected and appeazed to be stable. The crack repaved in <br />September has not re-opened. <br />
