No new work has been conducted at the east of the MSB, where an
engineered fill is proposed for expansion of the MSB.
Additional minor slide damage was noted on the slope below the Portal Access Road (directly
above the MSB Access Road). Please continue to maintain this slope to prevent further slide
damage.
The landslide that occurred on the Sylvester Gulch main hauUaccess road between stations 62+00
and 68+00 was inspected. The majority of the compacted fill material has been removed from
the road/embankment. Since the fill has been removed the road appeazs stable with no significant
additional movement or slide damage in the immediate vicinity. MCC has discussed with the
DMG proposed locations of test pits to be excavated in the near future. These test pit locations
will be documented in upcoming weekly Geotechnical Reports prepared by MCC and submitted
to the DMG.
3
